TV reception on a boat

For those of you that have time to watch tv on your boat, I came across this great little aerial supplied by Maplins .
It's a mini DVB-T digital aerial. code = A29GY. It tuned 105 digital TVs stations and 22 radio stations. and I only had it inside the dog house. it has a magnetic base so you are able to connect it to a ground plaine for improved reception.

What sort of TV /stick were you using and where were you? I had a similar sort of aerial some years ago with a USB stick, and the signals at the Folly IOW were not usable... Perhaps the transmitters are more powerful now?

The Aerial is approx 5 1/2 inches tall and works better on a good ground plain, probably even better if you connect Ground plain to a through hull below water level metal fitting.IMG_0018
