Probably not a lot of people think about what you do after you sell your Catalac.
We had Think Again for over 33 years, mooring in Mudeford and then up river at Christchurch.
It involved a lot of travelling as we lived about 65 miles away in Wiltshire.
I suppose the main thing you miss is the socialising especially christchurch sailing club.
Many a pint and many a meal spent with lovely people in lovely surroundings!
We have wintered for many years in Elkins boatyard, such lovely people.
The annual cleaning and antifouling a chore which you did each year, making her look spic and span. As they say it was like pouring money into the sea ! but if you stayed within your limits everything was possible,
We now have lovely memories of trips to Poole harbour and east to the Isle of Wight.
When we were fitter and we ventured across channel especially sailing in company with Peter & Susan Me and Er to Alderney Jersey and Guernsey, herm and sark.
Not forgetting fellow Catalac owners Alan & Shirley of Duplicat and Nigel & Ann of Ard ne greine
Also the fun we had with Tom & Mary Lack at the annual rallies.
To all the many lovely Catalac sailors we have met over those 33 years we we wish you good sailing and a safe journey through this present situation that we find ourselves in.
We have got to hang up our wellies and find something else to do with our time.
What a pity it has to come to an end, hopefully using the internet will allow us to stay in contact with all you lovely people and we hope that this virus will be controlled and we can get back to some form of normality.
Good Luck to you all from Bob & Ann Think Again.
