Catamaran Cruising

The run down Channel du Four is very quick with the wind in the right direction a big push from the tide 5 knots towards the old monks at the bottom ,we only had a knot with us at Valbelle. Top to bottom  is only an hour and a half.

The picture of the monks was taken during our trip to brest in 2015. when we saw Hermione on her return to Brest from its vist to USA well worth a vist a spectacular 17 year faithfull reconstruction of a 1760's french ship of the line.

We managed to do a sail past Hemione in 2015 ,It really is worth a visit if you get the chance.Ill put a few photos of our 2015 trip up when I have time,it was a late in the year trip with longish dark nights.

2016 we slid passed the helter skelter looking tower,one of the approach towers to Brest thinking we might have time to spend a night or two in the rade on the way back.
